The mountain is located in Karangasem regency of Bali province. Based on the results of measurements, the height of Mount Agung reaches 3,142 meters above sea level. This hiking is very extreme due to the high peak combined with very challenging terrain. It takes about 3 to 4 hours to reach the peak from Pasar Agung Temple and 6 to 7 hours from Besakih Temple.

Mount Agung Hiking is actually the best and also the hardest hiking in Bali. As the highest mountain in Bali, It presents an incredible scenery. At the top you will be able to see the whole island. This is the highest peak you might reach in Bali. The ascent to this mountain is not just to get a spectacular view but also to get the real adventure during the hiking. Rough terrain and long climbing time is the most enemy you have conquered. Fit endurance and excellent physical condition are required to conquer this “sacred tower”.

You will naturally fatigue while you did this trekking. The extreme track and very cold weather will absorb your power, but it just the process. The peak will refresh it, when you catch the summit of this “holy spire”, you will be refreshed by the cool air, the sights off whole Bali Island, and the sunrise. It was an amazing sight.
